Daily "Rodong Sinmun" carries editorial
The daily "Rodong Sinmun" carried an editorial titled "Let Us Carry Forward the Spirit of Mt. Paektu for All Ages" on the 25th on the occasion of the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Korean People's Revolutionary Army.
The editorial said nearly one century has passed since the Korean People's Revolutionary Army, the first revolutionary armed force of the Korean people, was founded under the leadership of the great leader Comrade Kim Il Sung.
It noted that the spirit of Mt. Paektu is the core of the lofty and noble spirits of the anti-Japanese revolutionary forerunners who wrote the first page of the arduous Korean revolution.
The spirit of Mt. Paektu is the strong faith and will with which they made their way through virgin snow with Comrade Kim Il Sung at the centre of unity and leadership at the time when the Korean revolution started, the editorial said and added that the spirit of Mt. Paektu created by the anti-Japanese forerunners through the long journey of bloody battles is firmly carried forward as the eternal and immutable spirit of the country generation after generation.
