Efforts concentrated on strengthening education
The province directed main efforts to strengthening teachers' in-service training centres in the cities and counties in order to reduce the difference between the town and country in the education level.
It remodelled the Ongjin County Teachers' In-Service Training Centre as an example and intensified guidance to generalize it to other cities and counties. As a result, more than ten city and county teachers' in-service training centres have been remodelled.
