Active efforts made to revitalize domestic tourism
Increasing is the number of visitors to the cultural tourist resorts wonderfully built in different regions including the city of Samjiyon in Ryanggang Province and Yangdok County of South Phyongan Province under the loving care of the Workers' Party of Korea. Accordingly, the administration has worked out a detailed plan for receiving tourists in contact with relevant units and is doing a good work for giving top-priority conveniences to the tourists.
It also hosts various styles of tourism such as tour of scenic spots and sports tour.
It is directing efforts to improving the quality of tourist services including the improvement of the professional qualifications of the tourist guides and pushing ahead with the work for protecting the tourist resources and ecological environment and running the major tourist resorts in all seasons.
