Active efforts made in DPRK to protect and manage national heritage
The Authority for the Protection of Cultural Heritage has set stepwise goals in a realistic way to restore the historic relics associated with the wisdom and talents of the ancestors and further improve the ecological environment of scenic spots and is vigorously pushing forward with the work on a mass scale in the spring month for protecting the national heritage.
The Central District and Mangyongdae District in the city of Pyongyang learned in detail about the preservation of the Ryongwang Pavilion, the Taedong Gate and the Pobun Hermitage and on this basis, take necessary measures in time and plant trees of good species, completely changing the surroundings. Officials and working people in other places of the country are protecting and managing the historic relics, scenic spots and natural monuments in their regions with patriotism.
