2026 Spring Aesthetic Symposium in Field of Urban Management held
The symposium on the theme of "Flowers and Green Landscaping" was aimed at affording an understanding of theoretical and practical problems arising in providing the people with better cultural living conditions by generalizing successes and experiences gained in green landscaping with flowers and further developing the flower cultivation and tending techniques.
Present at the symposium were Kim Son Il, Minister of Urban Management, and officials, scientists and technicians in the fields of urban management, designing and construction and other sectors concerned in Pyongyang and the provinces (municipalities directly under the central authority). Speeches were made and video programs on "Flower Festival--2026" and advanced afforestation and greening techniques screened.
