Hundreds of hectares of forest of economic value created
Thaechon County of North Phyongan Province has created hundreds of hectares of forest of economic value by persistently pushing ahead with the forest reformation, laying another foundation for contributing to the economic development of the region and the improvement of the people's living, including the production of Koryo medicine as well as the supply of raw materials to the regional-industry factories.
The county has planted many fast-growing trees of new species and is cultivating them in close contact with a forest research organ.
