International Children's Day marked in DPRK
The children across the country greeted the June 1 International Children's Day with pleasure.
They were full of joy and optimism in all parts of the country including the new streets of the capital city wonderfully built into ideal streets of the people and the rural villages splendidly changed into socialist utopias.
There were art performances and sports and amusement games of children atKim Jong Suk
Nursery, the Tongsongdong Nursery, the Kyongsang and Changgwang
kindergartens in Central District, Hwasong Kindergarten No. 3
in Hwasong District and other nurseries and kindergartens in the city of Pyongyang and the Pyongyang Baby Home and the Pyongyang Orphanage.
Children enjoyed themselves at nurseries, kindergartens, baby homes and orphanages across the country including the Chongmaedong Nursery in the city of Sinuiju, the Phyonghwa Kindergarten in the city of Wonsan, the Kanggye Baby Home and the Phyongsong Orphanage.
That day, the commercial service amenities, parks and pleasure grounds were crowded with the children spending a pleasant time with their parents.
