KCNA releases commentary
The commentary said:
Some time ago, the Japanese government started examination for developing and introducing in real earnest the unmanned submarine with the capacity of anti-ship attack under the pretext of "strengthening defence system in the Pacific".
The above-said submarine, which Japan attempts to possess, can move long distance for a long time, loaded with torpedoes or mines. If this plan is realized, Japan will have the condition to hide unseen "monsters for reinvasion" under water.
In other words, it is the aim of Japan to conceal the offensive means called unmanned submarine near coasts of neighbouring countries including the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and make a preemptive attack on warships of opponent countries in case of emergency and thus expand war of aggression.
In fact, the military power of Japan has been rapidly evolved into that for attack and aggression, not defence in recent years. The rapid promotion of securement and deployment of means for preemptive attack and long-range strike and the purchase of many weapons of mass destruction actually used in the modern warfare prove once again that Japan's advance into the road of aggression on continents is by no means a hypothesis but a stark reality.
Those who fail to learn a lesson from the past are liable to repeat the mistake. If Japan, a war criminal state and defeated nation, takes a revanchist option of overseas aggression, the future of the insular country will be doomed, the commentary stressed.
