Oath-taking meeting and procession of young vanguard held





























An oath-taking meeting was held by young vanguard in front of the Fatherland Liberation War Martyrs Cemetery on the 28th to carry forward the soul of the victorious wartime generation.
Present at the meeting were Ju Chang Il, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Kim Su Gil, Chief Secretary of the Pyongyang Municipal Committee of the WPK, war veterans, youth league officials, commanding officers and members of the High-Speed Youth Shock Brigade Management Bureau and the August 28 Youth Shock Brigade Management Bureau, students of the Mangyongdae Revolutionary School and the Chilgol Revolutionary School, and youth and students in Pyongyang.
Paek Un Chol, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Socialist Patriotic Youth League, made a report.
He said the V-Day July 27 recorded with gold letters in the history of the country is a historic holiday when the Korean people defeated the arrogant and impertinent aggressors and defended the sacred dignity and sovereignty of the country and which provided the precious ideological and mental wealth to be firmly carried forward by the younger generations.
Then war veteran Ri Thae Jin handed over a national flag of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea to young people, requesting the rising generations to remain loyal to the leadership of the respected ComradeKim Jong Un and firmly carry forward the tradition of victory of heroic Korea.
A resolution was read out at the meeting, which reflected the will of the young vanguard to vigorously advance for the Party and the country and for the victory of our cause.
