DPRK embassy in Russia gives reception
  The embassy of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea in the Russian Federation gave a reception on the 14th on the occasion of the 81st anniversary of Korea's liberation.
  Invited to the reception were Russian Minister of Defence Andrei Beloussov, Minister of Natural Resources and Ecology Alexandr Kozlov and other personages of relevant sectors such as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Defence and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology.
  Present there were Sin Hong Chol, DPRK Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Russia, and staff members of his embassy.
  Addressing the reception, the DPRK ambassador highly praised the great leader Comrade Kim Il Sung as a hero for all ages, who founded the Korean People's Revolutionary Army and defeated the Japanese imperialists professing themselves to be the "leader" of Asia and thus accomplished the historic cause of national liberation.
  The great history of national liberation, which brought about a fundamental turn in shaping the destiny of the Korean people, vividly records the unparalleled self-sacrificing spirit and feats of the officers and men of the Red Army, he added.
  The Russian Defence Minister and other speakers congratulated the 81st anniversary of Korea's liberation and said the victory won by the Korean people in their struggle for independence made a great contribution to bringing the Second World War to an end.
  They lauded the bravery and self-sacrificing spirit displayed by the Korean soldiers in the battle for liberating Kursk Region from the Neo-Nazi forces of the Kiev regime and expressed the belief that the relations of Russia-DPRK alliance would make the glorious tradition of mutual assistance and militant friendship firmer.
