DPRK Premier makes field survey of different sectors
Pak Thae Song, Member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and Premier of the Cabinet of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, made a field survey of different sectors.
Going round a number of farms in Taedong, Jungsan, Phyongwon, Sukchon and Mundok counties of South Phyongan Province, he stressed the need to harvest the grains grown with much effort without any loss by concentrating forces and means.
He called for widely introducing scientific farming methods whose superiority has been proved in reality and finishing the sowing of winter wheat and barley qualitatively in the right time and pointed out the issues arising in encouraging catfish farming in paddy fields.
He visited the Namhung Youth Chemical Complex and touched on finishing the overhaul of fertilizer production processes in time and increasing the production in a sustainable way by directing efforts to taking care of the equipment according to technical regulations.
At the fifth-stage construction site of the Hwasong area, he called for more meticulous planning and guidance so that all work could be done in conformity with designs and construction methods.
Earlier, Premier Pak visited the Pyongyang Building Materials Factory and underlined the need to strengthen the forces of talented personnel by regarding science and technology as the main link in the whole chain of increased production and turn out larger quantities of good-quality building parts by actively introducing innovative inventions.
The consultative meetings held on the spot took relevant measures.
