Delegation of DPRK Ministry of National Defence visits Vietnam
  The delegation of the Ministry of National Defence of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea led by Vice-Minister Ryo Chol Ung visited the Socialist Republic of Vietnam between September 24 and 28.
  During his sojourn, Ryo Chol Ung paid a courtesy call on the Vietnamese Minister of Defence Phan Van Giang and had a talk with Vice-Minister of Defence Nguyen Truong Thang.
  Discussed at the talks were issues on further expanding and developing military cooperation between the two countries in line with the DPRK-Vietnam friendly relations which greeted a new phase of development thanks to the historic Pyongyang summit meeting held in October 2025.
  The delegation of the Ministry of National Defence of the DPRK also laid a wreath before the Mausoleum of President Ho Chi Minh, visited a unit of the Vietnam People's Army and a military medical university and was invited to a welcome reception given by the Vietnamese Vice-Minister of Defence Nguyen Truong Thang.
