DPRK Taekwon-Do players back home
The games brought together more than 890 players and coaches from 24 countries and regions including the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, Russia and Tadzhikistan. The DPRK players bagged 41 medals including 26 gold medals.
The Taekwon-Do players, who demonstrated the honour of the country at the "Taekwon-Do Games for World Cup--2026", were greeted at the Pyongyang Railway Station on the 6th by their families as well as Kim Kum Chol, Secretary-General of the Cabinet, officials concerned, officials of the Korean Taekwon-Do Committee and sportspeople.
Sportspeople congratulated the players and coaches on their successful games, putting garlands around their necks and presenting them with bouquets.
