Cholryong Tile Factory and Wonsan Building Materials Factory inaugurated
The factories with efficient equipment necessary for the production of various kinds of tiles, roofing tiles and paving blocks can powerfully promote the regional and rural construction, attaining self-sufficiency in finishing building materials as required by the policy of the Workers' Party of Korea.
Their inaugural ceremonies were held on the spot on December 31, 2025. Present there were Paek Song Guk, Chief Secretary of the Kangwon Provincial Committee of the WPK, officials and working people of the province, the city of Wonsan and Anbyon County, builders and employees of the factory.
On the same day, officials of the Party and government organs and officials concerned in the province looked round the newly-built Wonsan Koryo Medicine Pharmaceutical Factory, discussing the issues for producing larger quantities of efficacious medicines conducive to the promotion of the people's health.
