Wood Sculpture "Ruyi"
This is the gift--wood sculpture "Ruyi"--presented to the respected Comrade
Ruyi means that the desire is attained.
The craftwork made of Pistacia chinensis is hard and has golden colour. It does not rot well, so it can be kept for a long time.
A phoenix, bamboos, clouds and peony blossoms are depicted in the head part of the craftwork and cranes, dragons, lions and bamboos in the body part.
The craftwork is 120 centimetres high and 37 centimetres wide. The gift including the stand is 180.7 centimetres high.
