DPRK Premier makes field survey of Hwanghae Iron and Steel Complex
Pak Thae Song, Member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and Premier of the Cabinet of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, acquainted himself on the spot with the production and management of the Hwanghae Iron and Steel Complex.
At the complex, he emphasized that the officials and workers of the complex should make more strenuous efforts to attain the goal of iron production set at the Ninth Party Congress without fail, always conscious of the importance of the position and duty of the complex in carrying out the new prospective plan.
Earlier, he visited the Pyongyang Pharmaceutical Factory and discussed the ways to perform its mission and play its role as a centre and model of the pharmaceutical industry of the country.
The consultative meetings held on the spot discussed some issues on supplying equipment and raw and other materials needed for the iron and steel production at the relevant sectors and units and on producing larger quantities of efficacious medicines before taking necessary measures.
On the other hand, Pak Thae Song called at the Myohyangsan Medical Appliances Factory to learn about the production of medical appliances.
