President of State Affairs Kim Jong Un sends congratulations to Lao President
Kim Jong Un, General Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and President of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, sent a message of greetings to Thongloun Sisoulith, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party and President of the Lao People's Democratic Republic, on March 22.
 The message said:
I extend warm congratulations to you, General Secretary, and all members of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party on its 69th founding anniversary.
Over the past 69 years since its founding, the Lao People's Revolutionary Party has led the Lao people's struggle for national independence and building of a new society to victory, thus creditably discharging its mission as the militant general staff of the Lao revolution.
I am pleased over the fact that the Lao party and people are making many successes in the struggle to implement the decisions of the 11th Party Congress while bravely overcoming challenges and difficulties under your leadership.
Being convinced that the traditional relations of friendship and cooperation between the two parties and two countries established on the common road for socialism would grow stronger, I sincerely wish you greater success in your responsible work.
