Temple of Learning

There is the Sci-Tech Complex built in the shape of a big atomic structure symbolizing the world of science in Pyongyang, the capital of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.
The complex with several indoor sci-tech exhibition halls and open-air sci-tech exhibition ground is a multifunctional hub for disseminating advanced science and technology and a temple of learning.

It was built under the special care and meticulous guidance of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.
He proposed building the Sci-Tech Complex, called at its construction site several times and gave concrete guidance to build it on the highest level.
On the morning of January 1, 2016 he attended the inaugural ceremony of the wonderfully built Sci-Tech Complex and cut the inauguration tape. Looking round the interior of the complex, he said it is a great temple of learning for all the people embodying the plan of the Workers' Party of Korea and a base for disseminating latest science and technology.
That day, he said the inauguration of the Sci-Tech Complex shows that the Party attaches great importance to science and stressed the need to run the complex, a precious asset of the country, properly and thus make a great contribution to making all the people well versed in science and technology and developing ours into a sci-tech power and a talented nation.
Comrade Kim Jong Un's instructions of the day reflected his noble intention to firmly guarantee the future of the socialist country by dint of science and technology and make the Sci-Tech Complex a home to which not only scientists and technicians but also working people from all walks of life come to learn science and technology.

Today, too, lots of working people and school youth and children are visiting the complex and learning latest science and technology.
