All the Korean young people like to sing the song "Ode to the Youth".

We can pick a star if we stretch out our arms to the sky.
We can break a mountain if we stamp our feet.
Our name is youth filled with self-confidence.
We are the youth with full hope like our invincible Party.

Lecturer Rim Su Gyong at the Youth Movement Museum says:
"The song 'Ode to the Youth' was sung for the first time in the venue of the Ninth Congress of the Youth League.
That day was August 28, 2016. It was the second day of the congress and the Youth Day as well.
A speech was made that the respected Marshal Kim Jong Un had sent the song 'Ode to the Youth' in celebration of the Ninth Congress of the Youth League and the Youth Day and the song began to be sung, which was chorused by all the participants.
Just before the congress Kim Jong Un had thought of a gift for the young people and sent the newly created song.
Every line of the song represented his great love and eternal blessing for the young people."
The respected Marshal Kim Jong Un made great painstaking efforts for the Ninth Congress of the Youth League.
One day in April Juche 104(2015), he met officials and looked back with deep emotion upon the immortal exploits performed by the great leaders Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il for the work of the Youth League.
He gave precious instructions on the Ninth Congress of the Youth League, saying that Kim Il Sung took part in every congress of the Youth League and its Seventh and Eighth Congresses were held in the presence of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il.

Kim Jong Un took part in the Ninth Congress, presented the flag of the Youth League and made an important speech.
And he saw the torchlight evening gala of young vanguard celebrating the congress and highly appreciated that it is best and perfect in organization, discipline and artistry.

With great joy and excitement, youth and students danced to the tune of the song "Ode to the Youth".

We'll be the star of faith following the sun of guidance.
We'll be the strong pillar supporting the great cause of the Paektu.
Our name is youth knowing only victory forever.
Youth, shine under the guidance of our great Party.

The song "Ode to the Youth" is loudly sung by young people everywhere in this country, reminding them of the unforgettable days when the Ninth Congress of the Youth League was held in the presence of Kim Jong Un.
