Great Trust in the Young People

The respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un bestows great trust on the young people and leads them to glorify their life as patriots.
Instructor Kim Myong Song at the Central Committee of the Socialist Patriotic Youth League said that he cannot forget the glorious day when he received the letter sent by Kim Jong Un to the Tenth Congress of the youth league in April 2021, and continued:
"In his historic letter, the respected Marshal Kim Jong Un said it is the basic task facing the youth league at present to train all young people into patriots who staunchly defend socialism and work with devotion for its construction, and brightly indicated the tasks and ways to be held fast to by the youth league.
And he advanced the slogan 'Let us demonstrate the mettle of patriotic youth in the worthwhile struggle for socialist construction!'.
The historic letter of Kim Jong Un represents his great trust and request that the young people should firmly prepare themselves as reliable youth vanguard of the Workers' Party of Korea and patriotic youth of socialist Korea."

Kim Jong Un had photos taken with young people on several occasions including the celebrations of the Youth Day.
He entrusted the young people with the construction of a new street in the Sopho area of Pyongyang, took part in the groundbreaking ceremony for the project to encourage them and broke ground first to signal its start.
Kim Myong Song said:
"The respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un named the street Jonwi (vanguard) Street and saw that the state prioritized and pushed forward with project as its own undertaking.
Encouraged by his great trust, our young people fully displayed the heroic spirit of the Korean youth in the construction of the new street. They built Jonwi Street, in which high-rise and super-high-rise apartment houses with thousands of flats including the 80-storied one and neighbourhood-serving amenities formed a large architectural group, in a year by their own efforts."

In August 2024, Kim Jong Un participated in the departure ceremony of the Paektusan Hero Youth Shock Brigade to be dispatched to the rehabilitation campaign areas in North Phyongan Province and encouraged the young people.
Afterwards, he attended the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the largest-ever greenhouse farm and vegetable science research centre and made a rallying speech to give the young people vibrant youth and enthusiasm. He visited the construction site of the Sinuiju Combined Greenhouse Farm several times and expressed satisfaction over the fact that the young people had grown up to be a large unit of patriots who believe that the motherland counts more than anything and feel the pride of making revolution despite ordeals.

He met the young people who had volunteered to work in difficult and challenging sectors of the socialist construction and made a new start of their life, and expressed the belief that they would invariably go along the road of patriotism to the end, glorifying their precious youth with heroic feats.
Indeed, Kim Jong Un's great trust in the young people is the nourishment enabling all of them to grow to be heroic youth in the struggle for hastening the bright future of the country.
