President of State Affairs Kim Jong Un has photo session with participants in parade of militia for celebrating 75th anniversary of DPRK
The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, General Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and President of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, had a photo session with the participants in the parade of the militia for celebrating the 75th founding anniversary of the DPRK on September 10.
Acknowledging the enthusiastic cheers, he congratulated all the participants in the parade who contributed to glorifying the 75th founding anniversary of the DPRK as a grand political festival to be specially recorded in the history of the country.
He was greeted by O Il Jong, Department Director of the Central Committee of the WPK who is Commander of the Worker-Peasant Red Guards, Kim Su Gil, Chief Secretary of the Pyongyang Municipal Committee of the WPK, and Ri Hi Yong, First Deputy Department Director of the Central Committee of the WPK.
Kim Jong Un said the grandiose parade that showed the valour and unity peculiar to Juche Korea is a great event proudly representing the founding of the genuine people's Republic and glorious history of its development, and a powerful demonstration of the invincible spirit of socialist Korea in which the entire people form a bulwark of national defence, firmly safeguard the independent dignity, sovereignty and peace, and indomitably and resolutely work to accomplish the great cause of building a powerful country.
Saying the 75-year-long history of the DPRK proves the truth that independence and self-reliance are guaranteed by powerful self-defence, he stated that the entire people across the country should firmly defend the precious gains of the revolution with the absolute strength of the single-minded unity and the might of the all-people do-or-die resistance, holding a rifle in one hand and a hammer, sickle and writing brush in the other.
Kim Jong Un expressed the expectation and belief that the participants in the parade would play a vanguard and pivotal role in the honourable struggle to implement the Party's policy of arming all the people and fortifying the whole country and build a socialist power in the same spirit of having proudly marched through the square of parade with patriotic enthusiasm, and had a photo session with them.
