Russian President arranges banquet in honour of President of State Affairs Kim Jong Un
  Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, President of the Russian Federation, arranged a banquet on September 13 in honour of the visit to Russia by the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, General Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and President of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.
  Before the banquet, Putin presented a gift to Kim Jong Un as a token of their meeting.
  Kim Jong Un expressed thanks for it and presented his gift to Putin.
  Invited to the banquet were Foreign Minister of the DPRK Choe Son Hui, Marshals of the Korean People's Army Ri Pyong Chol and Pak Jong Chon, Minister of National Defence of the DPRK Kang Sun Nam, Secretaries of the Central Committee of the WPK O Su Yong and Pak Thae Song, and suite cadres.
  Present at the banquet were Sergei Lavrov, Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation; Zenis Manturov, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade; Sergei Shoigu, Minister of Defence; Alexei Oberchuk, Deputy Prime Minister; Yuri Trutnev, Deputy Prime Minister and Presidential Envoy to the Far East Federal Region, and other leading officials, officials concerned of Russia, and Alexander Matsegora, Russian Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the DPRK.
  When Kim Jong Un came out to the banquet hall, guided by President Putin, all the participants warmly welcomed the top leaders of the two countries with applause.
  President Putin made a congratulatory speech at the banquet.
  He warmly welcomed President of the State Affairs Kim Jong Un, an honoured guest of Russia, and other Korean friends once again and referred to the history of development of the Russia-DPRK relations sealed with friendly, comradely and well-intentioned ties.
  Noting that the Russia-DPRK relations are directed as ever to the comradely and good-neighbour relations, he affirmed an invariable will of the Russian government to make consistent efforts for the development of relations between the two countries and the well-being and prosperity of the two peoples.
  Kim Jong Un made a reply speech.
  He said he is very pleased to visit the Russian Federation again in four years and five months to meet President Putin and share the meaningful seats overflowing with comradely friendship. He expressed thanks to President Putin and officials concerned of the central and Far Eastern regions for making much effort for the success of the visit.
  At the same time he conveyed the militant regards and warm fraternal greetings of the Korean people to the entire Russian people who have turned out to accomplish the historic cause of building a powerful Russia and firmly defending the strategic interests of the state.
  He expressed his will to lay the eternal foundation of the stable and future-oriented DPRK-Russia relations of new era together with President Putin and with its might, to powerfully promote the cause of building powerful nations in the two countries and realize the genuine international justice.
  After the banquet, Kim Jong Un courteously invited President Putin to visit the DPRK at convenient time.
  President Putin accepted his invitation with pleasure and expressed his will once again to invariably carry forward the history and tradition of the Russia-DPRK friendship.
  Kim Jong Un warmly parted with Putin, wishing him good health and continued wonderful successes in his important and responsible work for building a powerful Russia.
  He left for the next destination of his visit amid the send-off of senior officials of Russia and the guard of honour of the three services of the armed forces of the Russian Federation.
