President of State Affairs Kim Jong Un leaves Russia for home
The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un,
General Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and President of the
State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, left
Vladivostok City on September 17 after successfully winding up the
itinerary of his official goodwill visit to the Russian Federation.
Staying in Vladivostok City, the last visiting place of the itinerary of his
official goodwill visit to the Russian federation, for two days, he visited several places in the fields of the military affairs, the economy, science, education and culture.
A ceremony was held at Artyom-Primorski Station No. 1 to see off Kim Jong Un
leaving for home after having opened a new turning phase in the history of strengthening and development of the DPRK-Russia relations.
The guard of honour of the three services of the armed
forces of the Russian Federation and the military band were lining up at the yard of the station.
Standing at the station to see off Kim Jong Un were Alexandr
Kozlov, Minister of Natural Resources and Ecology of Russia; Oleg
Kozhemyako, Governor of the Maritime Territory Administration;
Byacheslav Kwon, Mayor of Artyom; and Alexander Matsegora, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the DPRK.
There was a ceremony of seeing off Kim Jong Un.
The national anthems of the DPRK and the Russian Federation were solemnly played.
Kim Jong Un reviewed the guard of honour of the three services of the armed forces of the Russian Federation.
He shared farewell greetings with the central and local cadres of Russia who came out to see him off.
He expressed his heartfelt thanks to President Putin and the Russian leadership and people for having paid special concern and accorded utmost hospitality to him everywhere he went in the whole period of his visit to Russia and wished Russia prosperity and its people well-being.
The special train carrying Kim Jong Un departed amid the send-off of the intimate Russian friends.
