The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un made a closing address at the Ninth Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea.
Noting that the current congress took place amid great concern at home and abroad as it was opened in the days when the socialist construction is powerfully promoted and the world political situation is seriously changing,Kim Jong Un said that millions of Party members and the entire people across the country expressed full support to the work of the Party congress while conducting tenser struggle of creation and labour with their minds of loyalty and patriotism in the venue of the congress where the great struggle of the arduous five years is proudly reviewed.
He said the main idea and main spirit of the Ninth Congress of the WPK are, in a word, to consolidate the success made in the struggle for opening the period of comprehensive development and lead it on to the fruition of a higher level. He declared the congress closed, expressing the belief that the lines, policies and decisions put forward at the congress will be brilliantly carried out without fail and a fresh historic change brought about in the development of the WPK and the revolution and the socialist construction by the high revolutionary spirit and resolute struggle of all the delegates, the entire Party members, all people across the country and service personnel of the People's Army.
