In 2023, he met officials several times, told them that the wheat processing capacity should be raised in keeping with the increased wheat production and stressed the need to build processing factories of adequate capacity in the regions which produce a lot of wheat.
Afterwards, too, he taught the principles to be observed in building wheat processing factories.
Under his special care, modern wheat processing bases have been built in all parts of the country including Nampho, Haeju, Songnim and Wonsan, bringing about a substantial change in the people's diet.
A national flour food show was held last year, drawing attention of many participants.
Presented to the show were hundreds of food and processed food of tens of kinds. The show was conspicuous all the more as it was combined with the demonstration of how to make different kinds of flour food which can be used widely as staple food.


The flour food making the diet simple and diverse comes closer to the people's life.
