The Kwangchon Chicken Farm, whose meat and egg production has been put on an intensive and scientific footing, was built in 2024 as a model and standard of the poultry farming of the country.
  It's less than two years after the farm started production but its products are called "Kwangchon eggs" and "Kwangchon chicken", making the people's diet richer.
  The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un proposed building the Kwangchon Chicken Farm and took measures for its construction.
  On January 7, 2024, he visited the newly-built farm and said modern chicken farms like the Kwangchon Chicken Farm should be built in every province in the future and that it would be good to build such chicken farms in cities and counties as well.
