Regarding the People as Valuable Beings
There is a general foodstuff factory in every province of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.
The Songdowon General Foodstuff Factory is situated in Kangwon Province.
The balloon-flower cake, Omija sweet jelly stuff sugar and other products of the factory are popular at home and abroad.
The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un called at the factory in July 2018.
That day, he said he had wanted to visit the factory and that he made time to see its officials and employees working, researcher Hong Un Ju at the Academy of Social Sciences said and continued:
"Told that the factory had developed a lot of new products, adding pleasure to the people, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un praised it time and again, saying; The people's satisfaction means that the factory proved the validity of the Party's policy with production of good-quality foodstuffs. I am satisfied at the Songdowon General Foodstuff Factory.
The factory was inaugurated in January 2010 and since then, it has constantly raised its production capacity over the past eight years, thus producing more than 150 kinds of delicious confectionery and processed foods favoured by the people.
That day, it was nearly 40 degrees centigrade outside at noon.
Despite the sultry weather, Kim Jong Un looked round more than 20 production processes."
That day, Kim Jong Un said to the officials time and again: The people are strict inspectors and judges and their estimation is a key to constant development of products in quality. It is necessary to grasp the demands of the people on a regular basis and put efforts into the development of new products to satisfy their needs so that the products of the Songdowon General Foodstuff Factory can be those favoured by people all the time and those greatly conducive to the improvement of the people's diet.
As said above, Kim Jong Un regards the people as valuable beings he should respect and uphold by devoting his all and is always concerned to improve the people's diet.
