"Mindulle"-Trademarked Notebook
Dandelion is a plant which can be seen everywhere in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.
Its name became the trademark of a notebook and all the children and students like to use the "Mindulle"-trademarked notebooks.
The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un proposed building a notebook factory in order to make the coming generations use the homemade school things from their childhood, and selected the trademark of "Mindulle" (dandelion) to be printed on notebooks.
Kim Song Il, Chief Engineer of the Mindulle Notebook Factory, said Kim Jong Un made great painstaking efforts to provide the coming generations with more good notebooks, and continued:
"The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un called at our factory on April 18, 2016, when it was producing 50 million notebooks a year.
We were resting content with it, thinking it was great.
But the figure of 150 million was kept deep in his heart.
We had to produce 150 million notebooks a year by all means in order to provide the children and students with more than enough amount of notebooks.
So the production amount of 150 million notebooks became the request of Kim Jong Un to our factory."

Afterwards, Kim Jong Un suggested a way to automate equipment to raise the production capacity of the factory and led it to increase its production.
Under his energetic leadership, the factory could produce 150 million notebooks a year from 2024, opening a firm prospect to produce more notebooks than now.
The Mindulle Notebook Factory made a start with the production of writing notebooks, and now it is producing not only various kinds of office notebooks but also different kinds of exercise books and picture cards giving help to the intellectual development of children and students.
Hundreds of "Mindulle"-trademarked notebooks are provided to a person in the days of kindergarten, primary school, junior and senior middle schools and university according to the standard of their supply.
Kim Jong Un was so concerned with the "Mindulle"-trademarked notebooks for every student not only because they are the school things to be used by the coming generations but also because he wants them to foster the mind of valuing theirs while using the school things produced at home from their childhood and grow into pillars to shoulder the future of the country.
