In the policy speech, he said the socialist cause of our own style has entered a new stage, and it is an important task facing the government of the DPRK to further expand and consolidate the current trend of development under the leadership of the Workers' Party of Korea and thus promote the prosperity of the State and the well-being of the people.
  He added that the government of the DPRK should carry out without fail the five-year plan thoroughly based on the Party's economic development strategy for stabilizing and consolidating the national economy and achieving its gradual and qualitative development at the present stage.
  Saying it is the consistent absolute standard of the government of the DPRK and its principle in activities that the people's well-being represents national strength, he stressed the need to persistently and without deflection push ahead with the construction projects for the regional development policy in the new era during the new long-term plan period, and thus provide 100 cities and counties with solid foundations for their development.
  The Korean people are creating miracles and innovations at their workplaces under the leadership of Comrade Kim Jong Un who works heart and soul for the prosperity and development of the DPRK.
