Developers of Intelligent Integrated Production System
What is specially noteworthy at the new farm is the IT-based and intelligent production and management system.
It is associated with the speculation and pursuit made by researchers of the Faculty of Automatics of Kim Chaek University of Technology for the development of stockbreeding industry of the country.
They started the research for the establishment of the intelligent integrated production system of the Samgwang Livestock Farm in 2023.
They made constant speculation and pursuit with a high goal to create a model of modern livestock farming, which is as good as the world level, with their own knowledge and technology.
Recollecting those days, Researcher Song Kwang Rim says:
"The Samgwang Livestock Farm is a conglomerate consisting of agricultural production, stockbreeding and milk production grounds. We made a research to establish the intelligent integrated production system in line with the characteristics. The primary issue in the research was to confirm the correct structure of the integrated production system suited to the characteristics of the conglomerate."
Veteran scientists and researchers with rich experience held tens of scientific discussions, pooling their wisdom and efforts.
In the course, they confirmed the structure of the intelligent integrated production system based on the virtual physical production system and got down to the research for introducing it into reality.
They completed new programs suited to the actual conditions of the farm and, on this basis, established the extensive data system to be introduced into the reality.
Finally, they made the breeding and milking process intelligent, completed the integrated production system capable of increasing the milk output radically through rational feeding based on predicted milk production and introduced it into the Samgwang Livestock Farm.
Their research result was highly estimated at the 39th National Sci-Tech Festival held in May.
They never feel satisfaction in the research for prosperity of the country to fulfil their duty as scientists.
