National joint meeting of KCU organizations held
A national joint meeting of organizations of the Korean Children's Union was held in the capital city of Pyongyang on the 6th to celebrate the 79th founding anniversary of the Korean Children's Union.
Present at the meeting were the participants in the celebrations of the 79th founding anniversary of the Korean Children's Union, students of the Mangyongdae andKang Pan Sok revolutionary schools, schoolchildren in the city of Pyongyang and members of the delegation of Korean schoolchildren in Japan.
Invited there were Choe Tong Myong, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea; Kim Su Gil, Chief Secretary of the Pyongyang Municipal Committee of the WPK; Kim Jong Sun, Department Director of the Central Committee of the WPK; Kim Sung Du, Minister of Education, and officials of the youth league.
Mun Chol, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Socialist Patriotic Youth League, made a report.
He said children of working people had the honour to take part in the celebrations with the pride of ample knowledge, high morality and strong body and successes in the socio-political activities and do-good-thing movement on June 6 this year under the meticulous loving care of the respected fatherly MarshalKim Jong Un who has made sure that the founding anniversary of the Korean Children's Union was grandly celebrated as a holiday of pleasure and happiness of the Children's Union members across the country every year.
Under the benevolent love of MarshalKim Jong Un who is so concerned about the growth of his children far away, the Korean schoolchildren in Japan have also been able to take part in the grand celebrations with the pride of firmly succeeding to the generation of patriotism and the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan despite the tempest of alien land, he added.
The reporter stressed that all the schoolchildren should prepare themselves as true members of the Children's Union, bearing in mind that thanks to MarshalKim Jong Un , our motherland is so powerful and there are hopes and bright future of the new generations.
