China-resident Koreans visit revolutionary battle sites in Mt. Paektu area
A group of visitors to the revolutionary battle sites in the area of Mt. Paektu from the General Association of Koreans in China visited the battle sites in the Paektu on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of Korea's liberation.
On the 10th, the group members climbed up the ancestral Mt. Paektu where the Korean revolution started and which is associated with the sacred history of the anti-Japanese war.
They adopted a letter of resolution to the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un on the top of the Paektu.
And they called at the great leader Kim Jong Il's birthplace in the Paektusan Secret Camp, laid bouquets before the mosaic mural of the peerlessly great persons and paid a tribute to them.
During their study tour, the China-resident Koreans visited the Samjiyon Grand Monument and the Chongbong Bivouac and looked round different places in the city of Samjiyon which has been changed into a model of cultured mountain towns and a people's paradise.
