Reception given by DPRK embassy in Russia
  The embassy of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea in Russia gave a reception on the 5th on the occasion of the 77th founding anniversary of the DPRK.
  Invited to the reception were Minister of Defence of the Russian Federation Andrei Beloussov, First Deputy Speaker of the State Duma Ivan Melinikov, Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs Mikhail Galuzin, Vice-Minister of Defence Alexandr Fomin, Vice-Minister of Internal Affairs Vitali Shulika and personages of the government, parliament, organizations and institutions including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Defence, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Agriculture and the Supreme Prosecutor's Office.
  Present there were Sin Hong Chol, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the DPRK to Russia, and staff members of his embassy.
  The participants first laid floral baskets and bouquets before the joint picture of the great leaders Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and paid homage to them.
  Then they looked round the photos on the noble revolutionary careers and exploits of the great leaders and the undying achievements made by the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un for the development of the DPRK-Russia friendly relations, their famous works and the photos showing the tremendous might of the DPRK and its remarkable development.
  Before the reception, the Russian Defence Minister warmly congratulated the 77th founding anniversary of the DPRK on behalf of the Ministry of Defence and stressed that the relations between the peoples of the two countries go beyond the friendship, because the Russia-DPRK relations were formed in the battles in which the soldiers of the two countries fought shoulder to shoulder.
  Saying that the meeting of President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin and Comrade Kim Jong Un on the 3rd gave a new vitality to the bilateral relations, he noted that we should jointly implement the decisions made by the leaders of the two countries.
  Speeches were made at the reception.
