National sci-tech presentation and symposium in field of poultry held
  A national sci-tech presentation and symposium in the field of poultry took place between the 16th and the 18th under the sponsorship of the Korean Association of Poultry under the Central Committee of the General Federation of Science and Technology of Korea.
  Present there were officials, scientists and technicians of more than 20 units including Kim Il Sung University, the Pyongyang University of Agriculture, the Poultry Feed Research Institute under the Academy of Poultry Science and the Sopho Chicken Farm.
  Submitted to the sci-tech presentation were tens of papers made in the course of improving the level of nutrition according to the physiological characteristics of poultry, breeding and introducing good breeds, producing protein feed, using feed additives and modernizing feed processing equipment.
  The symposium discussed ways to improve the quality of meat and eggs and raise the survival rate and weight ratio of poultry by using Pitocin.
