Song Kuk Hyang bags three gold medals
  Weightlifters from the Democratic People's Republic of Korea showed their high abilities by winning gold medals at the 2025 International Weightlifting Federation World Championships every day. Among them is Song Kuk Hyang who set three new world records in the women's 69-kilogram event and came off a victor.
  She lifted 120 kilograms in snatch, 150 kilograms in clean and jerk and 270 kilograms in total, breaking the previous world records and bagging three gold medals.
  Meanwhile, Ro Kwang Ryol lifted 215 kilograms (new world record) in clean and jerk of the men's 88-kilogram event, winning a gold medal and coming second in total.
