Choe Ryong Hae makes field survey of different sectors in South Phyongan Province
Choe Ryong Hae, Member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Supreme People's Assembly of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, made a field survey of different sectors in South Phyongan Province.
At the Paeksong Farm in the city of Phyongsong, he stressed the need to attain the goal of grain production set by the Party without fail by doing the present threshing in a qualitative way in time, concentrate efforts on the preparations for the next year's farming and make good preparations for fish farming in paddy fields in line with the requirements of the Party policy.
Looking round the Phyongsong City Grain Management Station and the Phyongsong City Foodstuff Factory, he underscored the need to ensure the water content thoroughly according to sci-tech requirements, raise the rate of cleaned rice output, dry, store and process the grains properly, manage the equipment and machines neatly and keep putting great efforts into improving the quality of the products and normalizing the production.
At the Sunchon Pharmaceutical Factory, he stressed the need to hasten the preparations for its remodelling outlined in the Party decision in a substantial way and thoroughly ensure the hygienic safety of medicines by constantly raising the level of technicians and skilled workers.
At the Sunchon Catfish Farm he learned about how fish is supplied to coal mines and different other units in the province and underscored the need to raise the living rate and weight ratio of young catfish by actively introducing advanced fish farming methods and increase the productivity by taking measures to supply feed in time.
Choe Ryong Hae acquainted himself in detail with the work of the South Phyongan Provincial People's Committee and discussed issues arising in steadily improving and strengthening the guidance over various mass movements and law observance which are active in the whole society.
