Active efforts made to develop new technologies for modernizing processes and recycling at fertilizer production units
The Hungnam Fertilizer Complex is promoting the modernization project with main stress on strengthening its material and technical foundations.
Its technicians established the decentralized control system in several processes during the period of intensive maintenance while drawing up programs as demanded by the design and installing equipment and carrying out trial operations in a responsible manner, thus raising the efficiency of command over production and providing a guarantee for increased production.
The Namhung Youth Chemical Complex made it possible to reuse the parts badly needed for normal operation of compressors and is solving by itself the problems arising in establishing a catalyst recycling process.
The Sunchon Chemical Complex introduced a proposal for operating crystallizer without cooling water in the season with low atmospheric temperature while updating the performance of equipment. In this way it economized in a lot of electric power and increased the production of nutrient solution fertilizer.
