Chairman of SPA Standing Committee makes field survey of different sectors in South Phyongan Province
Choe Ryong Hae, Member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Supreme People's Assembly of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, made a field survey of different sectors in South Phyongan Province.
He visited Pit No. 5 of the Inpho Youth Coal Mine under the Pukchang Area Youth Coal-Mining Complex and called on the officials and workers to attain the coal production goal for this year set by the Party without fail through a dynamic struggle for increased production.
He stressed the need to actively introduce advanced mining methods and steadily increase the coal transport capacity while continuously creating new coal beds by giving precedence to tunnelling.
At the farm in the town of Unsan County, he said immediate farming processes should be promoted in an effective way to conclude the farming well and full preparations be made for the next year's farming on the basis of the experiences gained in this year's farming.
He also said it is necessary to actively study and introduce advanced farming and animal-raising methods, continuously put big efforts into increasing the proportion of the farm work done by machines and further strengthen the material and technical foundations of the farm.
At the Unsan Prospecting Machine Factory, he emphasized the need for its officials to minutely organize and guide the production by dint of science and technology and improve the technical knowledge and skills of the employees to produce a lot of prospecting machines in a qualitative way, and discussed ways for the purpose and took relevant measures.
