DPRK Premier makes field survey of different units
Pak Thae Song, Member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and Premier of the Cabinet of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, made a field survey of the Samjiyon Tourist Area under construction and major enterprises in the city of Hamhung of South Hamgyong Province.
Looking round the Samjiyon Tourist Area including the tourist roads, the Ikkal Hotel and the Potnamu Hotel, he stressed the need to take measures for ensuring proper temperature of the construction projects now that temperature drops, push ahead with the project as scheduled without fail and thoroughly ensure the quality of buildings.
He also underlined the need to carry out the project tasks planned this year unconditionally and make preparations for next year's construction in a foresighted way.
At the Ryongsong Machine Complex, he underscored the need to hit the goal for the first-stage remodelling at any cost and put spurs to the present production so as to produce the important ordered equipment in time and in quality.
At the Hungnam Fertilizer Complex, he called for constantly boosting the productivity by making an effective use of the existing production capacity and for finishing the construction of slow effective granular urea fertilizer production process.
The consultative meetings held on the spot discussed issues concerned.
Earlier, Premier Pak familiarized himself with the production of the Jangsan Electric Appliances Factory and stressed the need to produce a greater number of electric motors and transformers badly needed in different sectors of the national economy.
