Regional-industry factories inaugurated in Yomju County
An inaugural ceremony of regional-industry factories in Yomju County was held with splendour on the 26th.
Present at the ceremony were Choe Ryong Hae, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Supreme People's Assembly of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, officials and working people in North Phyongan Province and Yomju County, employees of the regional-industry factories and officers and men of construction regiments.

He said it is a plan and goal of the Workers' Party of Korea and the overall prosperity of the state to develop the whole country in a balanced, sustained and simultaneous way by laying foundations for independence of the economic development in all regions.
He stressed that the modern regional-industry factories built in all parts of the country symbolizing the vigorous advance of our era are a precious fruition of the devoted service of the respected ComradeKim Jong Un for the people's well-being, who is opening an era of great transformation with the fervent love for the people.
He called upon all to advance more confidently for the overall prosperity of our great state and the implementation of the regional development policy of our Party.

After the ceremony, the participants looked round the foodstuff factory, garment factory, daily necessities factory and fish-processing plant fully equipped with modern production processes.
An art performance was given in congratulation of the inauguration of the regional-industry factories in Yomju County.
That evening, fireworks were set off in the night sky of the county.
