Ceremony of awarding title of Model Law-observance Unit held
A ceremony of awarding the title of Model Law-observance Unit to the exemplary units in the observance of socialist law took place at the Mansudae Assembly Hall on the 27th on the occasion of the Constitution Day of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.
Present at the ceremony were Pak Thae Song and Choe Ryong Hae, Members of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, and other senior officials of the Party and government, leading officials of the Party Central Committee, the Cabinet, ministries, national agencies and armed forces organs, officials of the judicial and procuratorial organs and officials of the power organs in Pyongyang.
Choe Ryong Hae, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK, made a speech.
He stressed that all the regions and units should regard the people-first political idea of the WPK as the immutable guidelines and strengthen the observance of socialist law to fully display the advantage and might of the social system of our state in which laws safeguard the people and the latter observe the former.
A decree of the Standing Committee of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK on awarding the title of Model Law-observance Unit to the exemplary units in the observance of socialist law was read out and citations were conferred on Anju Paper Mill No. 121, the National Acrobatic Troupe, the North Hwanghae Provincial Posts and Telecommunications Management Bureau, the Pakchon Silk Mill and the transport workshop of the South Phyongan Provincial Power Distribution Station.
