New Year's cards created
Greeting cards of diverse themes were produced by creators of the Art and Literature Publishing House and the Central Fine Arts Studio and teachers and students of the Pyongyang University of Fine Arts on the occasion of the hopeful New Year.
Seen on some cards are new streets built splendidly in the capital city, attractive villages in different parts of the country wonderfully turned into socialist utopias and modern regional-industry factories.
Other cards show sportspeople who created eye-opening miracles in succession at international games this year, happy children learning to their heart's content with nothing to envy in the world under the care of the Workers' Party of Korea, and good manners and customs handed down through generations.
