Groundbreaking ceremony held to mark start of regional development policy-oriented construction in Phyongwon County
The third-year work is done in real earnest as part of implementing the regional development policy of the Workers' Party of Korea in the new era.
The regional construction work for the new year has begun in Phyongwon County of South Phyongan Province in the wake of Unnyul County.
A groundbreaking ceremony was held on January 31 to mark the start of the regional development policy-oriented construction in Phyongwon County.
Present at the ceremony were Pak Thae Song, Premier of the Cabinet of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, Ri Kyong Chol, Chief Secretary of the South Phyongan Provincial Committee of the WPK, Ri Song Bom, Chairman of the South Phyongan Provincial People's Committee, service personnel of the People's Army involved in the construction, officials of the province and Phyongwon County and working people.
Pak Thae Song made an address.
He said the new life witnessed and felt by the people at the time when the year starts with groundbreaking ceremony and ends with inauguration ceremony is the proof of the truthfulness and vitality of the regional revolution persistently carried out by the Party with historic determination.
He noted that the respected ComradeKim Jong Un indicated the orientation and ways to implement the expanded regional development policy stoutly without letup.
