Ceremony held to start regional development policy-oriented construction in Ragwon County
A ceremony marking the start of regional
development policy-oriented construction in Ragwon County took place in South Hamgyong Province on the 5th.
Present there were officials of the province and Ragwon County, working people and soldier-builders. Ri Jong Nam, Chief Secretary of the South Hamgyong Provincial Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, made a speech.
He said that this year wonderful regional-industry factories, a hospital and a leisure complex would be built in Ragwon County where a splendid fishing village envied by the world rose up thanks to the spirit of making selfless, devoted efforts for the good of the people of the Party Central Committee determined to powerfully lead the new era of regional development to endless upswing with its stronger will and strenuous efforts as the people's dreams and ideals grow higher. He ardently called on all to make a bigger stride forward for the overall development of our state by more firmly uniting around the Party Central Committee with loyalty and patriotism.
A speech was also made by a commanding officer of the 124th regiment of the Korean People's Army.
Then, the soldier-builders started the projects, operating heavy machines.
