Reception given by charge d'affaires ad interim and defence attache of Russian embassy
  Vladimir Topeha, charge d'affaires ad interim of the Russian Federation in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, and Alexei Bartusov, defence attache of the Russian embassy, gave a reception at the Taedonggang Diplomatic Club in Pyongyang on the 23rd on the occasion of the Day of Defenders of the Motherland.
  Invited to the reception were Kim Thae Gun, Vice-Minister of National Defence of the DPRK, general and other officers of the Korean People's Army, officials concerned and members of the foreign diplomatic corps and military attaches' corps in the DPRK.
  Present there were staff members of the Russian embassy.
  Addressing the reception, Defence Attache Alexei Bartusov said the Russia-DPRK cooperation has been put on an unprecedentedly high level thanks to the political will of Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, President of the Russian Federation, and Kim Jong Un, President of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, and noted that the KPA is defending peace and justice of the world against the common enemy in the same trench shoulder to shoulder with the Russian army.
  In his speech, Vice-Minister Kim Thae Gun said that today the friendly relations between the DPRK and Russia are powerfully demonstrating their vitality and invincible might, resolutely smashing the trials and challenges of history along with militant fraternity formed at the cost of blood between the armies of the two countries, and affirmed that Pyongyang will always be with Moscow.
