Trees planted on Arbor Day
  Trees were planted across the country on the occasion of the Arbor Day.
  Officials of the State Planning Commission, the Ministry of Land and Environment Protection and the Korean Revolution Museum planted trees in different places in the city of Pyongyang including the surroundings of the Party Founding Museum, the Monument to Party Founding and the Central Botanical Garden.
  Officials and working people in the districts and counties of Pyongyang also planted trees of good species in streets, villages, parks and surrounding mountains.
  Those in different regions including South Phyongan, South Hwanghae and South Hamgyong provinces planted trees with sincerity around the revolutionary sites and revolutionary battle sites and the cemeteries of the fallen soldiers of the Korean People's Army.
  Working people in North Phyongan Province and the city of Nampho showed patriotism in creating forests of economic value and residents in North Hwanghae, North Hamgyong and Jagang provinces planted trees of different species, adding beauty to their regions and units.
