Russian government delegation visits Memorial Tower for Fallen Soldiers of Soviet Army


The Russian
government delegation led by Alexandr Kozlov, Minister of Natural
Resources and Ecology who is Chairman of the
Russian Side to the DPRK-Russia Inter-Governmental Committee for
Cooperation in Trade, Economy, Science and Technology, and Mikhail
Murashuko, Minister of Health of the Russian Federation, that took part in the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the DPRK-Russia Friendship Hospital, visited the Memorial Tower for the
Fallen Soldiers of the Soviet Army in the city of Wonsan of Kangwon Province on the 22nd.
The delegation was accompanied by Ju Mun Jin, Chairman of the Kangwon Provincial People's Committee, and Kim Jong Gyu, Vice-Minister of the Foreign Affairs, of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and Oleg Kosheev, Consul General of Russia in Chongjin.
The visitors laid bouquets and flowers and observed a moment's silence in memory of the martyrs of the Soviet Army who devoted their blood and precious lives in the sacred war for the liberation of Korea with noble spirit of internationalism. Then they looked round the tower.
That day, the members of the delegation visited different places of the Wonsan Kalma Coastal Tourist Area.
