Oil-bearing plants cultivation areas expanded
Last year, the province selected choice varieties of oil-bearing plants suited to the geographical characteristics, accumulated experience and technology in their cultivation and made successes in the research into the technology of cultivating different kinds of oil-bearing plants. On this basis, officials of the province is cultivating the oil-bearing plants in a big way from this year.
Many farms as well as the city and county raw material bases have planted rapes as a preceding crop, with the result that hundreds of hectares of oil-bearing plants cultivation areas increased in the province.
