DPRK Premier makes field survey of work in different sectors of national economy
Pak Thae Song, Member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and Premier of the Cabinet of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, made a field survey of the work in different sectors of the national economy.
He looked round the Tokchon Coal Mine under the Tokchon Area Coal-Mining Complex, the Hoean Youth Coal Mine under the Pukchang Area Youth Coal-Mining Complex, the Pukchang Thermal Power Complex, the Chollima Steel Complex, the Pyongyang Mining Machine Factory, the 5th-stage construction site of the Hwasong area and several farms in Kangso District such as the Chongsan Farm.
The consultative meetings held on the spot discussed issues on making realistic sci-tech proposals for further enhancing the production capacity in the fields of coal, electric power and metallurgical industries, on actively introducing advanced farming methods in the field of agriculture for reaping a high and secure yield despite the unfavourable weather conditions and on supplying materials needed for the 5th-stage construction of the Hwasong area and in the production of ordered equipment in time before taking necessary measures.
Earlier, Pak Thae Song learned about the fertilizer production and management of the Namhung Youth Chemical Complex and took relevant measures.
