Chinese ambassador gives reception
Wang Yajun, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, gave a reception at his embassy on June 30 to commemorate the 105th founding anniversary of the Communist Party of China.
Invited to the reception were Jo Yong Won, Member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Kim Song Nam, Member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the WPK and Secretary of the Party Central Committee, officials concerned and members of the foreign diplomatic corps here.
Present there were staff members of the Chinese embassy, Chinese guests staying here and Chinese residents.
Wang Yajun made a speech at the reception.
He said that after its founding the Communist Party of China united and led the people to build a new China where the people became masters and provide fundamental conditions for the great prosperity of the Chinese nation and rendered services to development and progress of humanity.
He expressed the conviction that the WPK would be strong and steady all the more and make new greater successes in accomplishing the socialist cause of Korea under the wise leadership of General SecretaryKim Jong Un who carried forward and developed the party-building idea of Comrades Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and thus presented the five-point party-building line of the new era and ushered in the heyday of strengthening the whole Party.
He stressed that in the new era General Secretary Xi Jinping and General SecretaryKim Jong Un had seven historic meetings and kept close strategic communications, constantly writing a new chapter of friendship between the two parties and the two countries.
Next, Kim Song Nam made a speech.
He warmly congratulated the Communist Party of China on the 105th anniversary of its founding and said it is making remarkable successes in the work of further strengthening its leading role, achieving the qualitative development of the economy and the stability of the society and consolidating the external position of the country.
He said the DPRK-China friendship has been developed onto a new height on the basis of the deep friendly relations between the respected General SecretaryKim Jong Un and the respected General Secretary Xi Jinping and stressed that the leaders of the two parties expressed their steadfast will to develop the traditional friendly relations between the two countries into the most powerful and strategic model relations between socialist states during their historic meeting in Pyongyang this year.
He sincerely hoped that the Chinese people would achieve a greater victory in the struggle for building a modern socialist power and accomplishing the cause for prosperity of the Chinese nation in firm unity around the party central committee with General Secretary Xi Jinping as the core.
Earlier, there was a round-table talk at the embassy to exchange the experiences of the DPRK and China in party building on the occasion of the 105th founding anniversary of the Communist Party of China.
At the talk, there were introduced the excellent party-building experiences of the WPK which regards the people-first principle as its political idea and mode and is making the overall development of socialism amid the absolute trust and support of the people, and those of the Communist Party of China bringing about changes by rallying the people, bearing in mind its original intentions and mission. And wills were expressed to keep strengthening and developing cooperation between the two parties in the sacred journey for socialism, independence and justice.
